Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible teacher. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.
Rev Holt was a very nice and polite man, who not only served his God, but his Country as well through the United States Air Force in an exemplary manner with honors and as a Civil Servant, he again served his country with dignity and respect. His broad smile and jolly spirit is missed; we can hear the sound of his notable voice saying "Hay Josh!" Our Father in the Gospel and Comrade has served well with distinction and now takes his rest in the Lord from all of his labors.

To the Holt Family, I was sadden to hear of the passing of Rev. Holt. I thought about the great times we had during Holy Week services. I recall the fellowship and the love we had for one another. I wanted to take the time to express me sympathy and let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayer. He had a phrase that he would always say and I quote " Praise Our God". He is now giving the ultimate praise to our God. He will be deeply missed. As the Bible say to be absent from the body for those that died in the Lord is to be present will the Lord. May God give you strength and comfort during this difficult time.
