My heartfelt condolences to Alice and the entire Mozingo/Wynn family. Wiley was my high school classmate and dear friend at Southern Wayne HS. We entered the newly opened consolidated Southern Wayne HS as freshmen in1965. With the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, our group of about 27 African American students were the first to attend this integrated high school. Wiley was an exceptional student and athlete. He excelled in both football and track. Racial taunts on and off the field did not deter his drive or ambition to be a good athlete. Friends and taunters were treated with the same respect. During our HS years, i never saw Wiley display anger towards anyone. Wiley was a friend to all and will be extremely missed. RIP my classmate and dear friend. Lafayette
Alice and family , I am so sorry for your loss. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
