Dudley - Mr. Wiley S. Mozingo Jr.,74, completed his earthly journey and transitioned on Friday, December 27, 2024 at UNC Wayne Healthcare, Goldsboro, NC with his family by his side. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 1:30pm at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 215 Sleepy Creek Road, Dudley, NC. He will be laid to rest at the First Congregational UCC Cemetery, Old Mt. Olive Hwy, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on February 10, 1950 in Wayne County, NC to Freddie Mozingo and Naomi Hobbs Mozingo. He is survived by his wife, Alice Wynn Mozingo and sons: Kelvin, Myron and Michael.
